2023 Program Design

Metro Arts was looking for an inspiring and innovative refresh for the development of its 2023 program. The key objective was to revamp the previous season’s design in such a way that it would entice new audiences to consider Metro Arts shows.
The brief was to present a design style and elements that could reflect the true vibrancy and alternative nature of artistic expression that is Metro Arts and the company’s thought provoking and exhilarating positioning. With the mantra of “Art Starts Here” the design needed to support both visual exhibitions, contemporary shows and a venue.
The design allowed for stand alone promotional material to integrate supporting visuals from a wide range of shows to be seamlessly blended into the overarching wave design, connecting each show to the broader vision of the season’s brand identity.
The design seamlessly extended beyond the show programs to venue signage and totem poles, social media posts, social and event header, edm headers, digital campaigns advertising and the company’s annual report.
This innovative approach injected a sense of excitement and uniqueness, allowing Metro Arts to distinguish itself prominently in a competitive artistic landscape. Metro Arts affirmed the broad impact the of the work and the impact it had in amplifying Metro Arts brand presence across the Brisbane Arts community.
